DECORETTE

Our world

Decorette is a small studio in Pakistan making handmade décor and wedding keepsakes: Nikkah Namas, trays, mirrors and art, each made for one person and one occasion.

“Gifting is more than just giving. It’s about the thought, the presentation, and the little details that make someone feel truly special.”

The Decorette logo

An arch, two peacocks and a lotus

The Decorette mark is a jharokha window drawn in gold, holding the monogram, with a peacock on each side and a lotus at its base. The same arch frames every photograph on this site, because the work is meant to be seen as if through a window into a celebration.

The tagline says the rest: curated details for your special moments.

Three traditions behind the work

The Mughal floral canvas propped on a chair, its gold edge framing the painted vase of flowers

Mughal illumination

Gold frames, carnations and scrolling vines, the language of the illuminated manuscript, painted around Nikkah Namas and canvases.

Two Mughal floral canvases hung either side of a tile mosaic mirror on a pale wall

Multani blue pottery

The cobalt and turquoise of Multan’s glazed pottery, carried into painted vases and the tile mosaic mirror.

Mustard Lippan mandala with white clay petals, dots and a mirror at its centre

Lippan art

Raised clay set with hand-cut mirrors. The studio’s aim, in its own words: bringing Lippan art to Pakistani homes.
